Toby Halman is a graphic designer working at the intersection of design and culture. His eye moves across fashion, music, and sports, observing how these worlds communicate, then building the graphics, artifacts, and systems that represent them. His background in Industrial Design grounds his work in intention, always designing toward something, with someone in mind. Equal parts design practice and cultural study, his work aims to reimagine daily routines for a more thoughtful future.

Over five years at a multidisciplinary advertising agency, he has helped shape the visual identities of some of Toronto's biggest clubs, working across nightlife, hospitality, real estate, and cannabis. He believes most brands don't fail because they look bad. They fail because nobody decided what they actually were.
